Who are you?
theMagunga Bookstore is an online and phone-order book service that focuses on promoting the reading culture by making several titles available to its customers. We work closely with publishers and writers to provide the books we know our readers love, as well as highlight some lesser-known gems that might be tricky to discover elsewhere.

Is there an actual bookshop I can visit?
Sadly not. We prefer not to have that.
Why should I shop at theMagunga Bookshop?
We are fair in our pricing. We provide you with the convenience of having a bookstore experience without having to move from your couch at home. You can also check out out Book Deals section for some of the most amazing deals on books that we have lined up for you.
What delivery options do you offer?
We work with several courier services to ensure timely deliveries at a small fee. The fee varies depending on your delivery location. On checkout on the cart, you’ll be shown the delivery fee.
Can you deliver internationally?
Yes we can. However, the shipping costs is on you. We are exploring ways to improve our distribution beyond Kenya as cheaply as possible without compromising on quality of service. Currently, we’re using DHL as they are fast & reliable.
Can I order over the phone?

How do I contact theMagunga Bookshop?

My book hasn’t arrived or is damaged. What should I do?
We aim to deliver all in-stock books within 48 hours of ordering (unless stated/informed otherwise) and do our best to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. But we’re not perfect, so please accept our sincere apologies if there’s a delay to your order or if your book arrives damaged. I would like to return my book and receive a refund. How do I do this?
If you change your mind about a book you order from us, then you have 14 days from the date of receipt to return the book and request a refund. The packing slip that comes with your book will have all the info you need to return a book.
Do you sell ebooks?
Yes we do. Kindly look at our eBooks segment on the website.
What about second hand books?
Yes. We have a Thrift Books segment on the bookstore where we provide previously loved books at very affordable prices.
I’m an author and I’d like my book to be listed with theMagunga Bookstore. How can I make this happen?
Your best bet is to ask your publisher to get in touch with us. We work with them to fulfil all orders placed with theMagunga Bookstore. You can also do it personally. If you are self published, by all means drop us a line here.
